South Wilts Archery Club (SWAC) was formed in 1859 and is based in and around Salisbury, Wiltshire. The club caters for multiple forms of archery, with year-round facilities available for outdoor target, field, clout and wand archery, and an indoor target facility available in the winter months.

SWAC currently has approximately 200 members, shooting a wide range of bow styles including recurve, compound, barebow, longbow and flatbow. The club takes an active role in competitions, with many members attending NFAS Field Archery and GNAS Target Archery shoots in the local area. SWAC also host 8 Open Shoots across a range of archery disciplines, throughout the year, which are attended by archers from all over the country.

If you're interested in taking up archery, SWAC run a number of beginner's courses throughout the year. These courses are demand led, so contact us to find out about availability. Further information can be found on our Beginners Page. The club also run Have-a-Go events at local fayres and fetes throughout the summer, where you can have a archery taster session with one of our coaches. Find out where we'll be this summer on our Have-a-Go Page.
